Community Care (CC) staff members use the Community Care Referral & Authorization (CCR&A) software as a service (SaaS) package to generate referrals and authorizations for episodes of care to community providers within the Community Care Network (CCN) (through the Veterans Choice Program). The CCR&A solution is an integral component of the VA Community Care Information Technology (IT) architecture which allows Veterans to receive care from non-VA Community Providers.
