Veteran Affairs (VA) is implementing the update and enhancement of the Fileman software in support of VistA Evolution to update and standardize Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), fix and enhance FileMan code, update legacy lexicon, update metadata, develop and deploy an enterprise lexicon, and install security enhancements.

Patch DI*22.2*10 repairs the following defects:
1. DIWP only supports strings up to 999 characters
2. NUMDATE fix in patch 7 was not added to DINIT
3. The variable DO is not killed after call to DIE
4. New api EN^DITP for repointing deleted records
5. New options for editing Data Types in patch 2 have no parent
6. New API CHKPT^DIUTL(file, ien, message)
