RT*2.0*47 provides the following enhancements to VistA:

- Modifies the default response to the "ISSUE REQUEST FOR RECORDS?" prompt in the Appointment Management [APPOINTMENT MANAGEMENT SDAM APPT MGT] and Admitting Area Chart Request [RT MAS-ADMIT-CHART-REQUEST] options in the Record Tracking package from "YES" to "NO." This prompt is used to determine whether hard copy appointment record requests are printed to a file room printer. The printing is deemed unnecessary at many sites and leads to wasted paper. Prior to CPRS implementation, hard copy records were necessary for appointments. The use of CPRS removes the need to print a hard copy for the vast majority of appointments, thus making "NO" the logical default.

- Modifies the REQUESTS PENDING FOR A BORROWER [RT RPT-REQUEST-BY-BORROWER] option in the Management Reports menu to display the last four digits of each patient’s Social Security Number (SSN). This option displays a list of pending requests for patient records from a particular borrower. Not including the SSN in this list makes it time consuming to check patient records to obtain this information.
