  20   - Modifies  the defau lt respons e to the " ISSUE REQU EST FOR RE CORDS?" pr ompt in th e Appointm ent Manage ment [APPO INTMENT MA NAGEMENT S DAM APPT M GT] and Ad mitting Ar ea Chart R equest [RT  MAS-ADMIT -CHART-REQ UEST] opti ons in the  Record Tr acking pac kage from  "YES" to " NO." This  prompt is  used to de termine wh ether hard  copy appo intment re cord reque sts are pr inted to a  file room  printer.  The printi ng is deem ed unneces sary at ma ny sites a nd leads t o wasted p aper. Prio r to CPRS  implementa tion, hard  copy reco rds were n ecessary f or appoint ments. The  use of CP RS removes  the need  to print a  hard copy  for the v ast majori ty of appo intments,  thus makin g "NO" the  logical d efault.
  21   - Modifies  the REQUE STS PENDIN G FOR A BO RROWER [RT  RPT-REQUE ST-BY-BORR OWER] opti on in the  Management  Reports m enu to dis play the l ast four d igits of e ach patien t’s Social  Security  Number (SS N). This o ption disp lays a lis t of pendi ng request s for pati ent record s from a p articular  borrower.  Not includ ing the SS N in this  list makes  it time c onsuming t o check pa tient reco rds to obt ain this i nformation .
