  62   With the i nstallatio n of patch  DG*5.3*94 1, a new a ddress typ e of Resid ential Add ress can b e viewed,  added or u pdated in  VistA REE.  This addr ess is use d by Enrol lment and  Eligibilit y to retai n the geog raphic res idence of  an applica nt or pati ent. It su pports the  ESCC prog ram's need  to determ ine geogra phic dista nce from a  treatment  facility.  A Residen tial Addre ss street  address ca nnot inclu de a PO Bo x. A new f ield "Codi ng Accurac y Support  System (CA SS) Certif ied" was a dded to al l address  types to s tore wheth er postal  addresses  meet Unite d States P ostal Serv ice (USPS)  format st andards. T he CASS Ce rtified fi eld will n ot be disp layed or s hared in A ddress App lication P rogramming  Interface s (APIs).  The Reside ntial Addr ess is ava ilable for  viewing i n other Vi stA packag es via Int egration C ontrol Reg istration  (ICR) 2041  and 10037 . This pat ch also in cludes a H ealth Bene fit Plan n ame change .
  63   VistA can  receive fr om the Enr ollment Sy stem, a ne w value fo r the Chan ge Source  associated  with the  Residentia l Address,  Permanent  Address,  Residentia l Phone Nu mber, Cell ular Phone  Number an d Email Ad dress. The  new value  is "VET36 0" and Vis tA will ac cept and s tore it in  the corre sponding P ATIENT fil e (#2) fie ld. The va lue of“VET 360” refer s to a cen tral repos itory for  patient co ntact info rmation, w hich is al so used fo r address  validation .
  64   A defect w as resolve d by revis ing addres s type lab els on the  DG Addres s Update O ption to b e consiste nt with th e changes  made with  Patch DG*5 .3*925.
  65   Patch IVM* 2.0*164 mo difies the  VistA Hea lth Level  7 (HL7) me ssaging.
