The NSR20140505 Enhance Patient Inquiry Display to Add Personal Effects intake modifies the Enhanced Patient Inquiry Display to identify if the patient has personal effects in Environmental Management Service (EMS), has patient funds on deposit, and the patient's room-bed phone number. These 3 items are found on page 3 of the Patient Inquiry.
The [DG ADMIT PATIENT], Admit a Patient, option has been modified to ask if the patient has personal effects in Environmental Management Service (EMS). This is not a required field and does not need to be answered at the time of admission.
The option [DG PERSONAL EFFECTS], Add/Remove Effects in EMS, has been added to the [DG BED CONTROL] Bed Control menu to allow adding or removing effects in EMS at times other than admission.
The option [DG PERSONAL EFFECTS PRINT], Patient List with Effects in EMS, has been added to the [DG OUTPUTS MENU], ADT Outputs Menu, to provide a comprehensive listing of current inpatients with personal effects in EMS.
The [DG BED ENTRY/EDIT], Add/Edit Beds, option has been modified to allow the user to enter/edit the telephone extension number for a room-bed.
