The Pharmacy Enterprise Customization System (PECS) is a JEE application used to research, review, report, and manage customized drug information from First Databank (FDB) used in the enhanced order checking. The web-based PECS GUI allows users to request, approve, and publish custom changes to Drug-Drug Interaction, Drug Pairs, Dose Range, Duplicate Therapy, and Drug-Drug Interaction Professional Monograph. Access is controlled through a role based system. Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is used to disseminate updates from a national database to all local/regional instances of FDB standard and custom tables.
