Subject: SEND MAIL MESSAGE WHEN VA DRUG CLASS FIELD IS EMPTY

Category:
  - Routine

Description:
============

 The NSR20140712 Send Mail Message When VA Drug Class Field is Empty
 intake modification will generate a MailMan message if the VA DRUG
 CLASS Field (#3) in the PATIENT ALLERGIES File (#120.8) is empty.
 The mail message is directed to members of a predefined email group.
 The email group is ADVERSE_ALLERGY_WARNING and will be created by
 the post installation routine if not found.

 This intake has been implemented locally at the Indianapolis, IN VAMC.

 This patch addresses the following requirement:

         VHBAO: NEED496665: Provide the ability to notify a provider
                when a drug class is missing from allergy information
                coded with a drug ingredient so that patient safety
                issues will not occur due to missed cross-interaction
                order checks.
