The Mental Health Services(MHS) is currently managing a web-based application, the Veterans Crisis Line Application (VCL) utilized by their confidential, free 24-hours hotline staff to make referrals to the appropriate field-based Suicide Prevention Coordinators (SPCs).MHS is requesting the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) to assists MHS to enhance, deploy and support the existing Veterans Crisis Line application and hardware platform utilizing Information Technology (IT) best practices and procedures rather than maintaining the existing ad-hoc environment.
