VistA Scheduling Enhancements is the first step to move forward to assist our Veterans with outpatient medical scheduling. It will address the immediate need to manage scheduling resources more efficiently and effectively. It consists of: aggregated view of clinic profile scheduling grids, a single queue of request lists and a resource management dashboard.

Scheduling personnel will be able to use a graphical user interface (GUI) to schedule appointments for our Veterans and to view appointment availability and to look at only one request list v. several. A resource management dashboard will display pertinent resource management metrics in a single view, and enhance the ability for individual facilities and staff at various levels within VHA including the National Director's Office to measure and track supply, demand, and efficiency metrics related to outpatient scheduling operations.
