This product is a Class 3 clinician-produced feature that allows the input of a Mental Health test/survey instrument to be imported into the VA FileMan structure from a flat non-VISTA file. It creates the appropriate record entries in VA FileMan to define the new test instrument.
It carries no documentation, no technical support, and no plan to implement this by the VA Mental Health Program Office or at the VA Medical Centers. It is dormant, incomplete, and is considered a risk to maintaining the governance over and standardization of mental health tests in VA.
It is being released to open source to address a specific request for it, however VA is not supporting its development or usage.
VA has no plans at this time to pursue any development of this module. It has been and continues to be categorized as a Class 3 module that does not have any business requirement from VHA requiring its remediation, enhancement or any commitment to pursue its release inside of VA.
