The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is obligated to modify the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) systems to comply with Operating Rules in the exchange of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes. The enhancements will allow VHA to comply with the legislative mandate for compliance with national standardized operating rules for Healthcare Claims 837 Processing.
