This article describes the implementation of the Appointment Postcard / Notification Letter application. This application is designed to convert the existing appointment letters generated by the VISTA Scheduling Package to a more user friendly reminder card that is easy to understand and provides for an improved patient experience with the VA health care System. This application also implements a Laboratory test results patient notification letter.
