To set up the page name, theme/colors, and layout of the iEHR web application for Section 508 compliance, click on the wheel icon (Settings) in the upper right-hand corner of the Provider Portal screen or the Patient Portal screen.
From the User Configuration dialog box, select Accessible.
The screen below shows the result of selecting the Accessible theme.
Click Save.
For Section 508 accessibility to the iEHR web application, use the following keystroke combinations:
[TAB] - To navigate/cycle to the different links/windows
[ENTER] - To navigate into the current window
[SPACE] - To activate a “click” on the current selected item
[LEFT/RIGHT Arrows] - To switch tabs
[CTRL]+[LEFT/RIGHT Arrows] - To switch between portal views when a patient is loaded
[ARROWS] - To navigate to a cell when you are in a data grid
[SPACE] - To click on the current item when you are in a data grid
To insert widgets:
Navigate/[TAB] to the widget menu button and hit [SPACE] to open the widget menu. Navigate/[TAB] to a desired widget and:
[CTRL]+[1] - To insert into column 1
[CTRL]+[2] - To insert into column 2
[CTRL]+[3] - To insert into column 3
