Admissions

From the provider clinical domain/widget taskbar that appears at the bottom of the Provider Portal, left-click on the Admissions widget and drag it to the screen.

This widget displays admissions for which the provider is the VA treating provider or DoD attending or admitting provider. The provider’s admissions information is displayed in reverse chronological order by admission date.

In the minimized view, the admissions information includes:

• Site

• Admission Date

• Ward

• Patient

In the full view, the admissions information includes:

• Site

• Admission Date

• DC Date (i.e. Discharge Date)

• Patient

• Ward

• Reg Number (i.e. Register Number)

• Provider

• Diagnosis

From the full view dialog box, you can also define admissions information by Start Date and End Date. Use the Filter by Clinic drop-down box to select a clinic.
